The Gulf Council for Foreign Relations (GCFFR)-Alsharatan is an independent company registered in the UK, well positioned to cooperate with various government agencies and corporates in the kingdom of Bahrain, Gulf Co-operation Countries (GCC), and globally to assist with sovereign goals, build international relations with liaising experts facilitating diversified investments between governments and corporates.
GCFFR is also a track II diplomacy tool. It provides an effective communication channel in order to reinforce national interests of the GCC people through constructive engagement with counter-parties from all around the world. It acts in parallel as a window and a bridge to maintain good relationships between the GCC people and other countries, wherein, we believe that the essence of dialogue is based on our recognition of the others.
We aim to be an open school for the exchange of ideas and experiences, achieve our shared goals, and respond positively to those who close the doors of mutual understanding among people of different faiths and civilizations with out alignment with any particular government, political party or special interest group focusing on creative and innovative projects that are in the direction of Bahrain’s 2030 vision.

The Gulf Council for Foreign Relations (GCFFR) is an independent centre focusing on the connections between the Gulf Co-operation Council Countries and the world with goals towards attracting inward investments.
It is also dedicated to studying, analyzing and disseminating alternative ideas so that policymakers, media, and interested entities, can better understand the global and the foreign policy choices facing the region.

In line with the GCFFR objectives to provide a forum that benefits the public and to increase their awareness concerning major issues of public concern and issues related to religious co-existence of members of the GCC, without alignment with any particular government, political party or special interest group, HE. Mansoor Alarayedh met the Pope Benedict XVl, the spiritual leader of the Catholic Church and expressed admiration and appreciation for the Pope’s significant role in supporting the issues of peaceful co-existence, tolerance, and constructive dialogue between religions. A set of Delmonic icons was presented to the Pope as a token of recognition and appreciation from the Bahraini people, who have always had the privilege of understanding tolerance and practicing the freedom of worship.
